This shoe was developed following valuable feedback from KIPRUN athletes who found the previous KD900X LD model effective for shorter distances but desired enhanced cushioning and protection for marathons. The previous model’s PEBAX-blended foam felt slightly firmer, whereas the new KD900X LD+ offers improved comfort and leg protection for the marathon distance. Notably, Méline Rollin set the 2024 French marathon record in it with a time of 2h24’12’’.
